NO...i'm not having a swollen infectious ugly puss disease in my gums! the reason for it being my smart and wise tooth made its own decision to grow horizontally instead of staying in an upright position (why else would it be called wisdom tooth). resulting in food getting stuck in the valley of doom in between my upper tooth and the smarty pants tooth.

So to avoid the valley from being infested by yucky bacteria, smarty pants tooth has to say bye bye!

Was the ordeal painful? i have to say...the process of cutting the tooth is...more tedious than it is painful. i was given anesthetic to numb my mouth...its an interesting feeling, not being able to talk, and close your mouth up tight. and with the blood spillling out just like that. its like i'm suddenly dumb. i dont' even taste blood anymore. my tougue felt like a pickle stuck to my throat. the dentist would then cut my gums open, give it a disection. COOl i can't feel a thing! haha...(i was freaking out all the time la). ok she then use a diamond driller to cut my tooth.........then....THUG THUG THUG! urgh playing tug of war between the dentist and i....with the tooth as the so called rope. i have to tell ya...there was no fun to it...it took alot of tugging to finally yank smarty pants out. reason? smarty pants tooth is smarter than i thought! its root has a 90 degrees angle! blardy hell.

The aftermath of all that is when the numbness wore off...i can't open my mouth...i can't eat...i can't talk...its painful! what a terrible experience. my mouth constantly filled with blood from the oozing wound. might as well turn into a vampire and drink my own blood! i think i'll be like this for a week or so. i heard it'd be worst tmrw.....well we'll see.

i'm starving...no i don't want porridge...when can i eat char kuey teow? type='text'>

** Malaysia + Space = ?????? **

i read this article on BBC news a couple of days ago...
i find it amusing so i guess i might just share it with u guys haha =P

here's the direct link http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/asia-pacific/4192166.stm

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Malaysia has announced that it hopes to put a man on the moon by the year 2020 as part of its $25m space programme.
The Science and Technology Minister, Jamaludin Jarjis, said he would be presenting a plan to the cabinet.
Mr Jarjis says the country needs to build up a pool of trained astronauts in preparation.
But such dreams were almost immediately called into question when the first batch of would-be space explorers struggled with a simple fitness test.
Mission not-impossible
Malaysia is a nation of seemingly limitless ambition.
Having already built what were the world's tallest buildings, it must seem only a short hop from there to the moon.
But there are still serious obstacles to overcome.
On Saturday, the first group from a shortlist of more than 800 would-be astronauts set out to run 3.5km (two miles) in a leisurely 20 minutes.
All were hoping to claim Malaysia's seat on a Russian-led space mission, scheduled for 2007.
But only 12 out of 31 taking part passed the test.
Some observers wondered whether their performance might be linked to the local diet.
Earlier this year, the country announced a programme to put Malaysia's favourite foods into space.
A TEAM IS TO BE SENT TO HOUSTON IN TEXAS TO FIND OUT HOW TO PROCESS TEH TARIK (SWEET TEA), ROTI CANAI (FLAKY GRIDDLED PANCAKES) AND NASI LEMAK (COCONUT RICE) FOR CONSUMPTION IN ZERO GRAVITY.
ALL ARE ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS, BUT RATHER FATTENING
However, no one should write off Malaysia's chances of achieving its latest goal.
The country has transformed itself from a largely rural society to a high-tech led economy in just 20 years, and refuses to believe that any mission is impossible.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

imagine the American astronauts couldn't stand eating spicy food...and they throw the food out the window...wah...malaysia delicacy flying around space, a higher achievement compared to klcc!
although malaysiaN astronauts tak boleh i bet malaysian food memang BOLEH!
MERDEKA MERDEKA MERDEKA!!! haha

<img src="http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y102/onionworld/spaceagn.jpg" alt="Image hosted by type='text'>

**It Is Now 5:24 AM**

its already quite late now and i'm still awake...and what a time to choose to blog. i can't help it i guess, things just keep popping up in my head, thinking, pondering, wondering.... i have a problem with sleeping with a full loaded working brain. i start thinking when i lie down trying to sleep. ideas pop out of no where, and most of them are silly but usually ideas mostly for my assignments. its really irritating at times when i have to wake up early the next day...getting less sleep and crappy ideas...

chatting with a friend a while ago has made me think alot. its been ages since i last caught up with her and yes i really did learn of many events that happened since i last saw her during summer break early this year. she i can say is "fully contented and successful". i just can't believe it when she told me that she worked two jobs, one as a tuition teacher to help a friend out and the other as a supervisor for an advertising company, all in all while handling her university studies, society clubs, a loving boyfriend and a very healthy social life meeting up with friends for events and etc.

she now has her own place, her own car, a job, a loving partner and studies going well. well, she does find it hard to cope with so much in her life but she's doing a good job in my opinion. it just blew me away to think of the amount of things she handles in her everyday life...

what she has achieved is so much more than what i have achieved so far...in comparison...i felt so useless. what i have now is just university studies, ltc and ocf to juggle. does that count much? that only counts for 2 out of the 4 things that my friend mentioned...

i guess u can say that i'm not giving my all in yet...and i know i should. sometimes i feel so foreign here in melbourne. it is where i am and where i've adapted to...but i'm still not fully embracing the fact that i can grab it just as easy as i can go anywhere in sitiawan...

i'm loosing out on lots of stuff by the way i am now...i miss the company of the friends that know me inside out left and right. old friends know you best. yes, but i am here they are there...and they have moved on with new friends as well. it wouldn't be wise to dig to the past and relive the old...

people who knows me would read this and realise that i have have kept a part of myself within me. it would be obvious to those that are new in my life. it takes time for me to be me. it takes more than a while to be me. it takes some patience to know me as myself.

writing this out loud helped me realise the fool that i am...a hermit still living in his shell eventhough swept away by the ocean flow to a new found paradise...

blogged on a very lousy day where my pc decided to ran amok to be reformated four times, with a frustrating assignment partner, with an unfinished work, with a pc which is not yet fully fixed, with heavy eyes, with stiff neck and class in three and a half hours time...
it is now 5:52 AM ... bedtime ...
<img width='1' height='1'

below...just memories...

...that i had during the time i was in tokyo...recall places that i went like shinjuku (where times square is..its great shopping area),
roppongi (my first stint at a club..nothing bad..an eye opener for an underage kid and tokyo towers is here too),
akihabara (bought my sony camera there..all the duty free shops),
Ginza (i can't remember what i did there..but i think it has a very interesting market/street),
ikebukuro (i had to stop here everytime to catch a train back..i remember the best ramen shop here),
ryogoku (big temple with huge jap tanglung),
...erm...there are other places that i can't remember anymore...japan, wonderful place that i want to go again...

thinking of applying for the RMIT student exchange to Japan...so i can go back there...

thinking of getting work now...to earn some money to go on a trip to thailand and singapore during the summer break...

thinking of the ammount of work i have to expect from the subjects i'm taking this semester...which i know will take up most of my time...

thinking of the way i am to juggle studying architecture and having a job at the same time...would i be able to cope with it...

random amusement...
...kaijima and tsukamato together form the architecture practise named "Atelier Bow-Wow"...and then...so happens my dog's name "death" whispering by my ears...speaking the words..."YOU ARE MINE!!!"

aih..thats how i feel at the moment at least. i start classes tomorrow! two stupid long weeks earlier than some of my friends, blame it all on RMIT teaching schedule! i know i should be somewhat encouraged the way my parents money are being put into good use educating me, but you have to admit it, we as students...aren't that keen on studying at all! looking forward to holidays is always first priority...bah!

time to sum up the holidays now.
i know i haven't been much of a blogger for the past few weeks. putting up a few pictures to make my blog more lively...thats my way of getting you guys fooled...hehe...both taking up space and eye catching. =P

1. charles came from NZ

2. went up to mt buller for two days, skied almost all the buller trails except for the extreme ones. overall...skiing's great fun, snowboarding's not!

3. went to the great ocean road as well. sorry charles that we did not get to see the 12 apostles...(damnation to the union protest that was going on that morning!)...but at least you left a piece of you there. you can now say...i am part of the great ocean road! haha

4. we had great doTAing sessions at home =)

5. charles went back to NZ...i promise i'll visit next time...honest*...

6. after that...just eating, sleeping & stay at home

7. watching lots of movies borrowed from juni...thanks for all the nice shows! =)

8. reading as well

my results is out. got 70 for design, 72 for history and 70 for tech. all barely distinctions! at least it'll show D in the transcript and not the marks =P

i guess i did ok this semester but i see a very obvious pattern. my marks are slowly dropping bit by bit...like someone is sucking my brains away slowly. somehow i'm wondering, will my marks drop a little more this new semester? and by the time i graduate..i'm left with 0 marks? haha quite a scary thought...

just to end with a few shouts...

1. happy birthday babi ben! getting older doesn't fit your face, time to have chichi at your place!

2. evelyn ong faster come to melbourne!

3. have a good time at geelong juni!<div a contrast of survival, having altogether to learn to survive again in an alien surroundings - the outside.
what is the middle ground of the inside and the outside? south morang possess both these qualities. being at the edge of the inside and yet touches the tranquillity of the outside. it becomes the neutral zone for both extremes. they share both directional programs and randomness of both sides. streets in south morang, curve from side to side, houses positioned in awkward orientations, though all being in a planned coordination, it is planned to be as such. it brings to mind the effect of planned garden suburbs where clusters of parks are being planted in the middle of a housing/commercial area. south morang forms the resolve of bringing two sides together. using the linearity to perform the randomness.
a house that is neither the inside nor the outside. a house that neither pushes out the neighbours nor invite the neighbours in. a house that embraces city lifestyle with the implementations of the country nature. a house that is randomness with program. yet just a simple house, that brings surprises as well.

---------------** note **-------------------

i don't usually write much so after writing this..i just feel that i might as well post it up. thanks for reading tho its hard to understand it =)

** Inside Outside **

"the inside of the inside is the inside of the outside"

a normal house is the urban inside. putting the urban inside into the outside surrounding context, the outside becomes undefinate. programatic runs within, an area recognized and straightforward. the outside, however, brings surprises, which is unknown.
what is middleground to the inside and the outside? what extent the moral of this story is true...haha =P

One day, while a woodcutter was cutting a
branch of a tree above a river, his axe fell into the river.
When he cried out, the Lord appeared and asked,
"Why are you crying?" The woodcutter replied that his axe has
fallen into water.

The Lord went down into the water and reappeared
with a golden axe. "Is this your axe?" the Lord asked.
The woodcutter replied, "No."

The Lord again went down and came up with a silver
axe. "Is this your axe?" the Lord asked. Again, the
woodcutter replied, "No."

The Lord went down again and came up with an iron
axe. "Is this your axe?" the Lord asked.
The woodcutter replied, "Yes."

The Lord was pleased with the man's honesty and
gave him all three axes to keep, and the
woodcutter went home happily.

One day while he was walking with his wife along the
riverbank, the woodcutter's wife fell into the river.
When he cried out, the Lord again appeared and
asked him, "Why are you crying?" "Oh Lord,
my wife has fallen into the water!"

The Lord went down into the water and came
up with Jennifer Lopez. "Is this your wife?" the Lord
asked. "Yes," cried the woodcutter.

The Lord was furious. "You cheat! That is an
untruth!"

The woodcutter replied, "Oh, forgive me, my Lord. It
is a misunderstanding. You see, if I said 'no'
to Jennifer Lopez, You will come up with
Catherine Zeta Jones. Then if I also say 'no' to her,
You will thirdly come up with my wife, and I will say 'yes,' and
then all three will be given to me. But Lord, I am a
poor man and I will not be able to take care of all
three wives, so that's why I said yes this time."

The moral of the story is whenever a man lies,
it is for an honourable and useful reason.

** Autummn Autumn Fall Fall **

autumn is here!
